Following its launch, Modern Warfare 3 will offer a traditional Campaign, similar to previous titles. This time, however, there’s a unique feature coming with the single-player mode. Sledgehammer’s team has introduced something called open-combat missions with MW3. It will add a touch of open-world style to the linear approach of completing story quests.

Speaking of Multiplayer, there will be 16 remastered maps coming from 2009’s Modern Warfare 2.
