Players have often complained about the ground loot in Call of Duty Warzone, and the truth is told, it’s actually very disappointing. These complaints started emerging after Season 5 when players started expressing resentment regarding terrible ground loot.

A Reddit user, u/Dull_Caterpillar3153, has recently uploaded a video of their looting experience in the r/CODWarzone subreddit. Other members of the community reacted to this video in the comments and related to the experience.

Redditors are frustrated about ground loot in Warzone

The aforementioned video by the user u/Dull_Caterpillar3153 consists of DMRs, Type 63s, and AUG rifles which are basically single shot or don’t deal sufficient damage. This can be found around all maps in the game, making it difficult for players to have a proper gameplay experience.

One user complained about finding 5 Hauers in Promenade and appeared visibly frustrated with this season’s floor loot catalog.

While Season 4 loot was phenomenally appreciated within the community, Season 5’s catalog of Tec 9s, Type 63, MG 82s, DRMs, and other such weapons makes players believe that the devs are deliberately trolling them.

DRMs have been popping out within the ground loot a lot more than usual in Season 5’s map. This has been pointed out by a user in this comment below.

There are other weapons, such as Type 63 and MG 28s, which have a slow rate of fire that tests the player’s ultimate patience.

Players are currently expressing their concerns about this issue, which Raven Software is yet to notice. They had high hopes, following the phenomenal ground loot experiences in Season 4. Unfortunately, their expectations weren’t met. And now, they hope Raven Software will address this issue in a future update.

Seasons 5 ground loot and weapons meta might not be totally pleasing to the community, but players are hopeful that this will change with future updates.
