And now, renowned watch-maker Casio has come up with an interesting crossover involving G-Shock and Nintendo’s Super Mario Bros. Not to mention that all the fans will surely have a feeling of time-travel in their minds after having a look at this watch.

Super Mario Bros. G-SHOCK watch revealed by Casio based on the retro Nintendo game
Casio has unveiled a brand new watch under its G-SHOCK line-up. However, it’s not any regular watch but one themed on Super Mario Bros. series by Nintendo. On its official website, the company mentioned the brand new product with the following description:
“This limited-edition timepiece represents the classic 1980s game through its whimsical design and nostalgic theme, as well as Mario’s “never give up” attitude that parallels the spirit of challenge present in G-SHOCK’s origins.” The watch model is DW5600SMB-4 and it comprises of design elements taken from the Super Mario Bros. title.

The base model comes with the square DW-5600 design which has the legendary G-SHOCK silhouette. While turning on the backlight the users will witness the classic Mario. Moreover, they can reproduce the beloved game itself by combining the backlight “with the glass-printed Koopa Troopa shell on the bottom of the dial”.
