Now the recent victim of such a debacle is none other that the Call of Duty professional player Clayster. He was seen getting verbal toxicity from online gamblers because his performance did not meet the bets that they have placed.

These people slid into Clayster’s DM to give their negative and toxic remarks to the professional. Moreover, it is quite interesting to see this, especially in the case of Clayster as he won the match that the gamblers were talking about.

Clayster publically posted this toxic behavior from these random people. His criticism was met with like-minded individuals on the internet.

People were seen talking about how much toxicity major basketball and football players are facing on a daily basis. Because of the expectations from online gamblers.

Some pointed out that this phenomenon is very common and is even considered ‘normal’ by some people.

Furthermore, some were even pointing out that these betting people are the reason for the increased viewership of certain sports.

Both ways, this is not an isolated event and for sure we have seen other professionals also getting bombarded in their chats by random strangers for the same reason. Only time will tell if some regulatory system will come against such toxic individuals.
