As of now, they have confirmed it for two titles, Forspoken and Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. Users wishing to buy them can pre-order them from Steam and the Epic Games store.

What reaction did fans have over this move by SquareEnix?
Interestingly, SquareEnix is the first video game publisher to introduce a $70 game price on PC. For those in the dark, SquareEnix is home to some top-grossing titles such as Kingdom Hearts, Dragon Quest, and Final Fantasy. But this move by the company is not looking good on their fan’s side as they are highly disappointed in them.
A prime example of this was a Twitter post by Chris Voiceman, who believed that the digital versions should have a lesser price compared to the physical titles. I mean, this is a very valid point, as it benefits the user as well as the franchise.

For the past few years, fans have complained about games publishing at extreme prices. It all started when Sony’s CEO got into a heated argument while talking about the company’s decision to price select first-party PS5 titles at $70. They included some of the most popular games, such as Demon’s Souls and Marvel’s Spiderman: Miles Morales’ ultimate edition.
While commenting about the $70 price, Jim Ryan said, ‘Yes, yes, I do. If you measure the hours of entertainment provided by a video game, such as Demon’s Souls, compared to any other form of entertainment, I think that’s a very straightforward comparison to draw.’
