The 2.4 update has introduced a lot of content in Genshin Impact. Furthermore, miHoYo has planned many new events for users to enjoy in the recent update. Apart from the iconic Windtrace event, players will see many new events in a few weeks. Not to mention, players can also collect the new Ninnguang outfit skin by taking part in one of the upcoming events.

miHoYo has released ‘A Study in Potions’ event where Travelers have to help Timaeus and test his recent discovery regarding potions. Interestingly, players can collect a total of 420 primogems, Mora, and other rewards just by completing different challenges.

The best guide for A Study in Potions event in Genshin Impact

First, players have to talk to Timaeus to initiate the quest. When the quest is completed, a new domain will be unlocked and three domains will appear on the last day. Users can get up to 140 primogems from every domain challenge. There are four challenges in each domain and comprise different enemies.

miHoYo also lets players choose four characters for each domain. Therefore, they can try characters like Yun Jin, Kazuha, Shenhe, Diona,, and others if they don’t have them in their collection already. Make sure to remember that this event can’t be done in co-op and doesn’t allow buffs or healing from food items.

Moreover, once player selects four characters, they won’t be able to use them in the next challenge because they get one challenge cooldown. Interestingly, the difficulty of each challenge keeps on increasing when you clear the first stage. Therefore, it’s best to complete the challenges with tough opponents in an easy difficulty first.

Furthermore, make sure to use potions as they provide enormous boosts to the team members. In order to gain every reward from the event, you have to earn a gold medal in every challenge. However, if you just want to get your hands on primogems, then you should focus on claiming a silver medal in all challenges.
