Firstly, Ethan addresses the situation to Pokimane about the trend of gambling amongst popular Twitch streamers. She said, “How can you feel good about taking money from people like that?” She said this with the understanding that the profit in gambling comes after someone’s loss. Furthermore, she said, “I think they kind of have a responsibility as people who are in such positions of privilege, power, and influence. Seek treatment, if you are addicted.”

As the discussion went on, Ethan mentioned xQc gambling getting overlooked by the community. She said, “I actually think he is kind of the exception to the role I think most other people do gambling.”

Pokimane puts out her opinion about people promoting gambling. She said that one who believes that gambling is wrong should not promote it. Furthermore, she spoke that as a person in public, one should be wary of what influence they can project on the people. She also informed there are instances when her people thanked her for speaking out on the topic as it helped them.
