When you hear “Hideo Kojima” you just feel the need to know more about what’s going on. The Japanese video game creator has achieved legendary status among fans and for good reasons. Kojima has been involved ins some of the most gripping video games to be ever created. Since his departure from Konami, Kojima has developed and released Death Stranding, often hailed as one of the most intense video games ever.

Now, fans are excited once again as Kojima has seemingly teased collaboration rumors with popular Hollywood star Keanu Reeves. A collaboration between these two gentlemen will be the stuff that dreams are made of and we can’t wait to learn more about the duo working together.

Kojima X Reeves?

Hideo Kojima’s ability to weave stories together is phenomenal. Kojima can bring characters to life in ways that make video games feel like an incredibly well-written movie or something similar. While Death Stranding received mixed reviews from fans, the game performed incredibly in the market. Many fans reported issues with the gameplay delivery of DS and complained the game lacked spark. Others were just too overwhelmed by the immersive storyline of the game.

Death Stranding’s popularity prompted Kojima to announce a sequel to the game. Now, an industry insider has shared a post on X showing Kojima and Keanu Reeves hanging out and fan speculations are understandably off the charts. Kojima is apparently charmed by Reeves’ personality and couldn’t stop praising the John Wick star.

Hideo Kojima is also known for his love of movies and other visual mediums. Kojima also previously mentioned that Death Starnding’s concept and gameplay take inspiration from 2D era games, which sort of caught gamers off guard. Kojima is also one of the key art directors for the upcoming Death Stranding movie. While fans are disappointed that Kojima will not be directing the film, they just want to see anything with Kojima involved in it.

Fans are excited about the possible collab even more since Kojima shared more photos of Reeves hanging out with Norman Reedus, the protagonist for 2019’s Death Stranding. Knowing that the three of them spent some time together makes us pray that Kojima announces something with Keanu soon and give us what Death Stranding promised.
