Both clubs have a rich history on their respective home soils. The home ground of the current La Liga champions was built in 1957. This stadium is famous for its engraved popular chant of the club in the seats: “Mes Que Un Club,” which means “More than a club.”

This stadium has seen some iconic matches being played here: Be it FC Barcelona’s epic comeback against PSG, popularly known as the ‘la Remontada’ where the home team overturned a 4-goal deficit in the UCL ro16 in 2017, or Barca’s epic 6-2 win over arch-rivals Real Madrid in 2008–09, the list doesn’t seem to end.
The champions of the Bundesliga have been reigning on their home ground since 2005. There is an interesting fact about Allianz Arena. This renowned stadium serves as a home ground for TSV 1860 Munich and the German national football team as well.
Another amazing aspect of this stadium is that, whenever Germany plays, the color of the whole stadium changes to white, whereas in the cases of Bayern Munich and TSV 1860 Munich, it turns into red and blue, respectively. Allianz Arean also hosted some of the most classic matches of all time, including the dramatic UCL final of 2012, where the home team got beaten by Chelsea on penalty shootouts.
Why are these iconic stadiums absent?
The answer is pretty simple: eFootball (earlier known as PES or Pro Evolution Soccer). E-Footbal is the only contemporary soccer simulation game that somehow gives competition to FIFA, or now EA FC, in some sectors. In terms of gameplay and mechanics, there is no match for EA’s title.

But in some editions, Konami’s long-hailed soccer game might have an edge over EA FC as far as graphics are concerned. Also, EA FC provides a more fluid and realistic experience than eFootball’s slow gameplay. On the other hand, on Android and iOS, eFootball has left EA FC far behind.
So, Konami has an exclusive agreement with both clubs for e-football. That means these two stadiums will only be featured in E-Footbal, not anywhere else. Bayern extended their partnership last year with Konami. And Barcelona has recently done the same this year. So, at least this year, we are going to miss these two stadiums in EA FC 24.

Although there is high anticipation regarding EA Sports FC 24, it will be a bit disappointing for the Culers and Bavarians to be exempted from playing at their home grounds.
