When The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild launched back in 2017 as a Nintendo Switch and Wii U exclusive, it was a sight to behold. It was a very beautiful game that ran on the Nintendo Switch’s handheld mode at 720p, and it ran at 900p in docked mode.
This was fine for some, but a number of people were somewhat disappointed too. They wanted the Nintendo Switch to do better. It appears Nintendo has listened to those complaints and is giving them a powerhouse. A recent report suggests that the Nintendo Switch 2 is so powerful that it was showcased running at 4K at 60 fps.

According to the Nate The Hate Podcast, the Breath of the Wild demo running on Switch 2 had the following features:
– DLSS
– 4K Resolution
– 60 FPS
– Minimal load times pic.twitter.com/rehckuctlp— Stealth (@Stealth40k) September 11, 2023
The other thing Nintendo showcased was the Nintendo Switch 2 running Unreal Engine 5, powered by the Matrix demo. It is also being said that the demo was running with ray tracing and some sort of DLSS. There’s a divided opinion on the version of DLSS; some say it was 3.1, others say it was 3.5. No matter the version, the existence of any version of DLSS support on this console would be a great thing. DLSS 3 is a technology that works extensively to increase the framerate of one’s game. We cannot wait for this thing to actually be revealed to the public, just so we can see exactly what kind of power this upcoming console holds.
