Fortnite has come a long way since the time Epic Games released its battle royale game in 2017. The game was received with immense support from the player community. Especially because of the dynamic gameplay that was offered in its game. Even parents who were reluctant to let their children play competitive games because of the blood and gory aspect were somewhat okay with Fortnite. As it was more cartoony compared to the other games.

The ‘Good old days of Fortnite’

Fortnite came around six years ago. The game was an instant hit amongst the gamer communities that it got more than 125 million players within just one year. For many, Fortnite was released at a time when they were in their teen days. So, the platform became the ‘new playground’ for friends to meet up. Now as the game is in its chapter 4, people are seen talking about those ‘prime days’.

Eric Decker, famously known as Airrack was seen talking about the good old prime days of his favorite games. Airrack is famous for his YouTube vlogs, and in a recent tweet he was talking about the prime days of his favorite games ‘Fortnite’ and ‘Among Us’.

Among Us was a huge trend when it was initially released. It is a social deduction game where players have to find the imposter who is killing players in the game. Many famous personalities like Valkyrae, Pokimane, and others were engrossed in the game when it was first released and entertained the audience. But, now the game has much less engagement as newer games came to the forefront.

Many share the same nostalgic feeling

As Airrack talked about the prime old days of Among Us and Fortnite, many shared similar thoughts. The community came together to recall the days of reaching home just to hop on Fortnite for endless hours.

People also recalled the days when other games such as Roblox, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Halo, and PUBG were celebrated and played in the past.

As time moved on, some players may have felt the changes brought into these games that were subjectively not fulfilling. But this doesn’t mean that Fortnite has lost its elite position. The game is still one of the most played games in the world and will surely be one in the future as well.
