There are a lot of meta-evolution cards available in FC 24. But it’s tough to go for the top cards, as they will be expensive as well as rare to find. Nonetheless, they help boost the gameplay and optimize the moves.

Ansu Fati

The first card that has got everyone talking is from a young sensation from FC Barcelona, Ansu Fati. This player is right now loaned to English Premier League club Brighton, but that doesn’t stop him from being an effective meta-evolution card.

The base card of this player at level 1 is rated 78. But if you keep upgrading this card, it will go all the way through to an 88 rating at level 4.

Joe Gomez

The next card is of talented English center back from Liverpool, Joe Gomez. This player’s base card starts at a rating of 79. But on evolving the card, the rating goes to 85. This improves his defense and physical attributes from 79 to 86 and from 77 to 83, respectively.

Upon upgrade, this card is going to be a lot better than the base card of the main centre-back of Liverpool, Virgil van Dijk.

Julian Alvarez

Our final card on the list is none other than the Argentine sensation, Julian Alvarez. This player right now boasts a treble with Manchester City and a World Cup with the national team.

This 23-year-old striker’s base card is rated at 80, which will go up to 86 at level four upon further evolution.

Let’s know more about this Evolution feature of FC 24

This new feature allows you to boost a player’s attributes and skills significantly, which will eventually reflect on the ratings of their base cards. There are many popular players who might not have had the best of times in their careers. With this feature, you can bring your favorite players into the spotlight once again by upgrading their ratings.

However, this Evolution feature is season-based and only available for short windows. Not every player’s card in the Ultimate Team will get this Evolution feature. As of now, there are a total of five categories of meta-Evolution cards. They are:

  1. Pacey Protectors
  2. Relentless Wingers
  3. Founders Evolution
  4. Golden Glow Up, Part 1
  5. Golden Glow Up, Part 2

Although there is a catch, some fans might think they can use Golden Glow Up Pt.2 cards from the beginning. But you have to upgrade your meta-evolution card at least up to Golden Glow Up Pt. 1. Only after that will that, the evolved card will be eligible for Part 2.
