Get close to 80 FPS with this VRR setting in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
Like many AAA titles being released in recent times, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will come with a maximum of 60 frames per second. While this is understandable to make sure the game looks the best in terms of graphics quality, many players want to push the game to its limits. To go around the locked frame rates, Insomniac Games offers a VRR feature that helps players get more out of the game. The VRR settings come with three modes: Off, Smoothed, and Uncapped.

Selecting “Off” would mean that the frame rates can be snaggy and fluctuate severely if the target frame rates aren’t attained. Naturally, many fans would like things to be smoother than this. The other two VRR options can thus become pivotal for the gaming experience based on how players want their games to look. The Smooth VRR option allows things to feel more seamless while maintaining a steady frame rate.
