In its true sense, No Return is a Roguelike survival mode in The Last of Us Part II Remastered for PS5. It’s designed to let players get a randomized experience and different encounters. A familiar combat system will feel fresh to them due to this mode.

No Return will enable the players to select new characters apart from the ones they know. In the recently revealed trailer, some glimpses regarding this aspect were shown. Each character will have different traits to suit various playstyles. The mode will help the players to chart their own course on each run. They will be able to choose between various stealth and combat encounters.

Moreover, each run will offer them a new chance to decide what rewards they get following each encounter. Plus, they will even get the option to customize their runs while competing on a Global Leaderboard as part of a Daily Run. This intel was shared in an official blog focusing on the PS5 Remastered version.
