Fall Guys has achieved yet another incredible milestone. This feat comes after the game went free to play across all platforms on July 21. Mediatonic also added cross-platform support to the fun platformer, allowing friends to team up regardless of their device.

In addition to the new features, the fun battle-royale title is now available on platforms other than PC and PlayStation 4. Players can indulge in the chaotic battle-royale experience on PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

With Mediatonic and Epic Games adding in the missing pieces, the puzzle to Fall Guys now seems more complete than ever. Following the introduction of the free-to-play feature and new platform support, the game full of beany goodness has recorded over 50 million players in 2 weeks!

Not only did Mediatonic’s revamp garner 50 million-plus fans, but it also broke some considerably high records of other video games. Whether the revamp will stop history from repeating itself is yet to be seen!

Fall Guys smashes the 50 million milestone, breaks records

Fall Guys Free-For-All has garnered over 50 million players within two weeks of its release. According to Benji-Sales, a notable source of video game sale statistics, the game has managed to break the records of popular titles like Fortnite, Call of Duty Warzone, and Apex Legends.

The original Fall Guys (Ultimate Knockout) experience did massively well, but only for a while. Soon after the craze toned down, fans started to feel the monotonous nature of the game and abandoned it. The player count dropped drastically as fans began to predict the end of a short Fall Guys era.

After Epic Games’ acquisition of Mediatonic in 2021, Mediatonic’s team had promised to bring the game to new platforms and also keep adding new content. And, they kept their promise to the fullest, bringing in new content now and then.

Fall Guys Free-For-All’s massive 50 million achievement has also made a lot of fans, including Nintendo of America, very happy.

While some attribute this breakout to the Fortnite x Fall Guys collaboration event that happened last week, the game going free-to-play has had a huge impact of its own.
