Romain Grosjean Pokes Fun at HIMSELF for Over-the-top Podium Celebrations at IMS

After being dropped by the Haas F1 Team at the end of the 2020 season, Romain Grosjean joined Dale Coyne Racing to compete in IndyCar. So far in his rookie year, the Frenchman has been immensely impressive, securing two podiums in 12 races.
During the Big Machine Grand Prix, the Frenchman finished second behind the Australian driver, Will Power. Grosjean was delighted after securing his second runner-up finish in IndyCar. Meanwhile, during the victory ceremony, the Frenchman replicated the infamous meme in which one athlete celebrates all by himself while the other two stare at him.
Taking to Twitter, Romain Grosjean hilariously mocks himself and tweets from his official account, “Sounds just like me…”

Coyne is hopeful Romain Grosjean will stay despite Andretti Autosport rumors
Romain Grosjean has been heavily rumored to replace Ryan Hunter-Reay at Andretti Autosport next season. Meanwhile, Dale Coyne, the team owner of the American racing team, hopes that they can retain the former Formula 1 driver, Grosjean, despite Andretti Autosport’s rumors.
“I think he’s happy with us, although I realize lots of people are looking at him right now. We’ve done a good job for him. I think he understands that.” said Dale Coyne in an interview with Autosport.

“We took a chance on him, he took a chance on us, and I think it’s worked out good for both of us and I hope that pays off for both of us in the end and we’re able to keep him next year.”
“Andretti’s team is good, and I understand a driver wanting to go there but I think we’re doing a good job for him, too. He’s been quick everywhere we’ve run him, in qualifying and the race, which shows he’s pretty complete.
