Azerbaijan Grand Prix: Where to Watch & What are the Timings for This Baku F1 Showdown?

Next weekend, the Formula One paddock will head to Baku for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The Mercedes-Red Bull dogfight will resume on the street circuit with the Austrian team hoping to pick up where they left off in Monaco last weekend with Max Verstappen’s win. The Silver Arrows, on the other hand, will look to bounce back from quite a disappointing race weekend.
The race weekend will commence on Friday, June 4, with practice 1 and 2. FP1 will kick off at 12:30 PM local time and 2:00 PM IST, with FP2 beginning at 4:00 PM local time and 5:30 PM IST. Later on, Saturday brings FP3 at 1:00 PM local time and 2:30 PM IST. Qualifying will follow at 4:00 PM local time and 5:30 PM IST. Finally, the race will kick off at 4:00 PM local time and 5:30 PM IST.
People can catch all sessions on Sky Sports F1 or subscribe to F1 TV. Meanwhile, non-Sky subscribers will have to rely on highlights from Channel 4.

Naturally, many will be keen to watch the Formula One race back in Baku once again. The track is a good mix of fast, tight, and twisty.
What to expect from the 2021 Azerbaijan Grand Prix

As mentioned before, Red Bull enter this race weekend on the back of a win at Monaco. So, the Austrian outfit will want to keep the ball rolling and build up their championship advantage. Meanwhile, Mercedes will want to avenge their defeat in the Principality, as will star driver Lewis Hamilton.

The Azerbaijan City Circuit is a track where both teams have performed reasonably well. However, it is worth mentioning that only Lewis Hamilton has won at the track. Without a doubt, Max Verstappen will want to change that dynamic in his favor.
