The Alpine driver had brought his A-game to the Losail International Circuit this weekend. In Saturday’s qualifying session, he was the fifth-fastest driver of the session.

The Spanish driver drove brilliantly and brought the Enstone-based team their second podium of the season. With a week off from F1, Alonso would aim to do the same at the upcoming Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
