Alpha Tauri racing fame Yuki Tsunoda recently visited the Madison Square Garden. And once he posted several pictures of the same, a droolworthy Instagram interaction with Pierre Gasly surfaced.
Madison Square Garden is an iconic and monumental building not just for the Americans, but for many sports fans around the world. It recently hosted a groundbreaking boxing match between two women athletes Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano, which is now dubbed as “the fight of the year”.

The building holds a lot of history over the years. From hosting Frank Sinatra’s concerts to being a home to New York Knicks, the Arena has opened its door to several people and events.

Crowned as the engineering marvel of its era, MSG is a standout building in its own right. No wonder why the 21-YO was so fascinated by his maiden experience there.
F1’s Alpha Tauri buddies Yuki Tsunoda and Pierre Gasly interact in a post
Yuki Tsunoda was understandably in awe of the marvel. In a cute post with a blue shirt on, Yuki excitedly revealed; “My first time in Madison Square Garden and to see history!”.
The post obviously did not go unnoticed by his team mate Pierre. The Frenchman, who is fond of Yuki, wrote, ” Cute” under the comments. Now what seemed a little odd here, at least to some, was the two teammates (and fierce competitors) calling each other cute on a public platform.

Both of them, in fact, even say weird things about each other at times. For example, Gasly had earlier famously said, “So I’ll go with one [Yuki]-sized duck.” while answering a very interesting question.

Tsunoda, on the other hand, is very famous for swearing. This put his team in a lot of awkward situations back in 2021 (refer the Drive To Survive documentary for the same). Just imagine someone shouting vehemently down a team radio. Above all, speaking a language you don’t even understand.
Over the past couple of years, the Alpha Tauri team mates have grown close. While Gasly obviously holds a lot more experience, he never fails to help the young Japanese. Moreover, the two seem to have naturally bonded as they help the team and each other. The fans live for this unusual and unexpected friendship, as the two buddies often post about each other.

Gasly will be hawk-eyed, before a move to parent company Red Bull is granted. While for Tsunoda, this season could be his last, if he doesn’t facilitate the team with consistent points.
Safe to say, this is a critical season for Alpha Tauri. It could go either way for them, as they might lose both their drivers or get to keep them both. However, despite anything, the Gasly-Tsunoda friendship will go down in history books.
