With each passing day in the F1 summer break, we learn more and more about the future grid of the 2023 F1 season. The new talk of the town is the intention of McLaren to race with an Australian driver, but that might not be Daniel Ricciardo.

‘Honey Badger’ joined forces with the papaya team in 2021 on a three-year deal. However, an underperforming two-season stint has put his seat in jeopardy, resulting in the team exploring the possibility of replacing him with the up-and-coming Australian, Oscar Piastri.

Despite that, it looks like the Woking outfit is ready to breach the deal to make way for the future talent or pay the 33-year-old while he races for another constructor the next season.

Despite that, the enraged fans have taken over social media and lashed out at McLaren for not sticking to its word, again all anger based on no concrete information. A racing mechanic inside the number 3 garage has taken to Twitter to ask the fans to not throw around hollow remarks.
