At the Belgian Grand Prix, Lando Norris slipped from his seventh position due to McLaren’s decision to use a high-downforce rear wing. Although beneficial in the rain, this setup proved less effective in Sunday’s race. Norris expressed frustration with being unable to push and constantly being overtaken. Things improved when soft tires were introduced, leading to a surprising P7 finish.

Despite the challenges, Norris adeptly managed the situation, securing points for his team. “The combination of Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris is such an exciting one for McLaren. I can’t actually think of a better combo on the grid,” Clarkson commented and passed the mic to van Haren.

He’s a driver who’s not satisfied with simply being good, he wants to be the best. “I really like Oscar because he’s not happy with a P2 and, like earlier this weekend, he thinks, ‘Okay, the gaps are so close, I could have my pole position,'” commented van Haren.
