Lewis Hamilton is having a poor season, and he has been on the podium only once so far. His struggling form has led many F1 fans to speculate about his transfer from the Silver Arrows.

After joining Mercedes, Hamilton has dominated the sport and even became a seven-time world champion, a feat only achieved by great Michael Schumacher before Lewis. However, the current seven-time world champion cannot fight for his record-breaking eighth championship with the new W13.

The 2022 challenger is facing significant porpoising, affecting the car’s performance. Meanwhile, Ferrari is flying this season with their powerful 2022 car, F1-75. Recently, many rumors suggest Lewis Hamilton will be joining the Maranello base.

The Briton’s current contract expires at the end of 2023. If Hamilton cannot lift his eighth title by the end of 2023. Then he might join the Prancing Horses for one last dance to break Schumacher’s legendary record.

This rumor has spread like wildfire on the internet, and F1 fans showcased their thoughts on this rumored move of Lewis Hamilton to the Italian F1 base. Moreover, most fans are either excited to see him in red or wonder whom the Mercedes man will replace in Ferrari.

Hamilton doesn’t want F1 to lose the Monaco GP

F1 announced the addition of another new race next season, the Las Vegas GP. Further, Miami GP will be joining the F1 schedule this season. However, this has also raised concerns about losing traditional races like France and Monaco. This year might be the last appearance for these two races as their contract will expire.

The seven-time world champion also stated that losing the circuit around the principality would be a massive loss for the sport. Monaco GP is part of the ‘Triple Crown of Motorsport’ alongside the Indianapolis 500 and 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Hamilton reported about losing the Monaco circuit, “It’s one of the crown jewels of our sport. So I’m not really sure it would be great to lose it. There are good bits… I guess that the difficult part is that the racing itself is not that spectacular.”
