F1 World Unites to Support Lewis Hamilton Against Recent Comments, Demanding For Accountability & Action to Back Mere Words

Out of the all people in the world, Lewis Hamilton, the man who takes his fight against racism seriously is a recent victim. The Briton always makes it a point to bring important issues to light. Of all things the world champion stands for, inclusivity is arguably the closest to his heart. Being the only black driver on the grid, Hamilton could point out the lack of diversity in the sport.
As a multiple-time world champion, Hamilton has used his position to bring this lack of diversity to light. The Hamilton Commission is one example of Brit’s efforts to bring minority groups to the world of motorsport. To sum up, the Mercedes world champion works tirelessly in efforts to make the world of motorsport more inclusive.

However, this did not stop the former three-time world champion from using a racist remark against Hamilton. Piquet, while talking about the 2021 British GP incident between Hamilton and Max Verstappen, used a racial slur that was quickly and firmly opposed by the F1 fraternity. The FIA, F1, and Mercedes-AMG Petronas‘ social media handles all posted messages supporting the Brit.
However, several Twitter users were quick to note not one message mentioned the guilty party. All the messages shared their thoughts on Hamilton’s effort against racism while pointing out that none of the statements mentioned Piquet. The lack of accountability perplexed Twitter users.
Twitter users not satisfied with the messages put out supporting Lewis Hamilton
At first read, there is a lot of confusion as to who is the person who is causing all the controversy. And none of the messages put out by the Mercedes, the FIA, or F1, help the readers understand that. And that is exactly what is agitating the Twitter users.
what “incident”?

#F1 and Mercedes condemn Nelson Piquet’s racist language about Lewis Hamilton.
Comments like this just show how far we still have to go. It needs to end, and there needs to be consequences for those who continue.@racefansdotnet https://t.co/zXERYoh3u1

I wonder what it is about Lewis Hamilton that upsets Bernie Ecclestone, Jackie Stewart and Nelson Piquet so much?!🤔
These dinosaurs have no place in F1 & the sooner they are banned from the paddock the better… https://t.co/3Z5FYX6nzc

I worked with Lewis Hamilton very closely for 5 years when he & I were at McLaren. He’s an absolutely brilliant #F1 driver & a truly great man. He does a huge amount for diversity & inclusivity. By contrast Nelson Piquet Sr disgusts me. #WeRaceAsOne. That’s it. That’s the tweet. pic.twitter.com/SZOnbp0Y2J

this is what mercedes and f1 should have done btw. this is how you show support and this is how you condemn actions: you speak loud, and you mention names. https://t.co/O5DeA9HQIF

There is some misplaced anger toward Max Verstappen and his girlfriend Kelly as well, which is the case with most outrage. Kelly Piquet is the daughter of Nelson Piquet Sr, the man causing all the controversy and outrage.
People getting mad at Max and or Kelly over this are completely missing the point imo and putting priorities in the wrong places

With all due respect, having a "we race as one" campaign and the only thing F1 is saying is "we condemn this" doesn't really add up imo https://t.co/BS1jJz3I2B
