Michael Schumacher’s former manager Willi Weber opened up on his immediate feelings after learning of Michael Schumacher’s accident in 2013. Weber disclosed that “he mourned like a dog” after hearing about the F1 legend’s skiing mishap. Furthermore, Weber revealed that he was no longer in contact with Michael Schumacher or his family.

On December 29, 2013, mere days away from his 44th birthday, Michael Schumacher suffered a near-fatal accident whilst skiing in the French Alps. The 7 times World Champion’s head hit a rock while crossing an unpatrolled skiing area. Thankfully, he survived because of his ski helmet. However, his injuries were severe.

Ever since the 7 times World Champion’s accident, his family has rightfully kept his medical condition a private affair. Very little is known about the German driver’s current condition but the fans wish to see Schumacher hale and hearty again.

Weber had a close bond with Michael. He managed the Former Ferrari driver right from the start of his F1 career. Weber’s savvy negotiating skills came in handy when Michael signed lucrative contracts with Benetton and the Scuderia.
Apart from all the noise on the race track, Weber was close to Schumi as a friend and confidante. As a result, the German legend’s accident shocked Weber, when he first got wind of the tragic news.

Sadly, Weber admitted that he was no longer privy to Michael Schumacher’s present condition. The German also disclosed that he isn’t in touch with Michel’s family.
“When people recognize me, wherever I am, they say: ‘You’re the ex-manager of Schumacher. How’s he doing?'”

One of Michael’s biggest philosophies was ‘never giving up’. The 7 times World Champion faced a multitude of adversities during his lengthy F1 career. For now, we can only hope the German driver recovers and returns to the race track, as Mick Schumacher’s father, once again.
