F1 drivers engage in battles both on and off the track. There is a war of words on the radio and in off-track interviews, as well as a war of machines on the track. But one of the drivers has emerged and has engaged in battle with Lewis Hamilton despite not even registering a race start. Well, how did that come about against the driver who has 103 wins and 191 podiums to his name, and who was the daring driver who shocked both Lewis and, more importantly, the one and only, Roscoe?

It was none other than the budding McLaren driver from Mexico, Pato O’Ward, who currently drives as a regular for the papaya team’s IndyCar subsidiary and has tested the previous editions for McLaren. The Mexican was speaking on The Red Flags Podcast, in an episode titled Talking IndyCar With Pato O’Ward, when he launched his first attack on the Briton, which, as fans joked, was far too aggressive because it targeted Roscoe!

When asked by the hosts, which of the two dogs, Roscoe, Lewis’s pet, and Rocky, Pato’s pet, has a better Instagram game? And to this, Pato replied, “Well Roscoe’s more followers so yeah.” But in a follow-up to this, when asked, “Who’s the better father, who’s the better follower?,” and without any hesitation, Pato replied, “I think content in Rocky is pretty good.” Thus, registering the first blow, he dethroned Roscoe as the best F1 dog and self-claimed his pet and himself as the best father-pet pair.

To Pato’s answer, the hosts cited the usage of additional S’s by Roscoe’s father, Lewis Hamilton, as they spoke in agreement with the McLaren driver.

The latest troubles for Roscoe and Lewis Hamilton

Roscoe boasts a following of a whopping 722,000, which is far more than Pato O’Ward himself, who stands at a little over 429K. So, the move to dethrone Roscoe certainly cannot be said to be completed.

Roscoe, one of the most popular dogs in the world, and his father recently became a topic of discussion when the dog was forced to wear a raincoat with a visor. The fans were divided, with some criticizing the Briton for the choice while others praised him for being considerate about the dog while going for a run.
