“Tell Lance my break balance suggestion,” said Fernando Alonso, who is an absolute master at reading the race. Nando, who has raced more than any driver in the history of sport, time and again proves why that is. While the man’s mind functions faster than a computer, even in the middle of the high precision and even higher pressure race, a new one from his old team cast his own spell on him.

Charles Leclerc was the pole man for today’s main race and, knowing well enough that he cannot dream of fighting the monster DRS of the Red Bulls, his only hope of pole conversion was to get a podium. While he did manage to hang to third place in a race that was mostly a lonely one, the threat from Nando had begun getting closer towards the end of the race. But how did Charles fight it off?
