Lewis Hamilton had one of the best debut seasons in Formula 1’s history. The Briton finished the season in P2 and missed the championship by just one point. However, he won the championship next season and ironically, by the barest of margins.
The Briton driver showed immense promise upon entering the grid with McLaren. After a few unsuccessful championship campaigns with the orange team, he moved on to Mercedes in 2013.
The hybrid era started in 2014 and since then, Mercedes and their drivers have won every single title. Mercedes broke Ferrari‘s record of most consecutive titles and Hamilton equaled Schumacher’s record of the most championship titles.
