Lewis Hamilton is one of the wealthiest athletes in the world. The 7-time World Champion earns his money via racing for the Mercedes team, his endorsements, and much more. However, it hasn’t been easy for the Mercedes man to reach the top.
Lewis Hamilton once looked back on the struggles that he endured along the way. Being the only black driver on the grid, Hamilton couldn’t believe that he’s ruled his F1 kingdom for as long as he has.

In an old video shared by Lewis on his YouTube channel, he said, “I do have moments where I think, wow, look where I’ve come from you know grew up in one-bedroom flat with my dad and we had no money.”
“You just remember just walking to school, going to a normal school, being around kids. Used to playing around the corner and then all of a sudden getting the dad bringing me a go car for my eighth birthday or 8th Christmas.”

The multi-millionaire currently has a reported $130 Million worth Real Estate Empire.
Lewis Hamilton has enjoyed a glittering career. While things haven’t been similar this season, he’ll hope to come back roaring again next season.
Lewis Hamilton taking the positives from this season’s struggles
Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton is not letting the poor current season affect his confidence. The Silver Arrows driver is taking all the positives he can from this season in a bid to come back stronger next year.
He said, “We started off not where we wanted to be, We’ve made progress, we started to reach a patch of a bit of consistency. Not a single person in our team has given up and we’ve continued to push, so I’m really proud of the progress and the experience that we’ve had.”

Lewis acknowledges the fact that it was not the best of starts to their 2022 season. Their car lacked pace compared to their rivals. However, he’s proud of his entire team for the way they have fought back.
However, Lewis replied, “Entering the season, [it’s] not necessarily the one you would ask for. But if anything, it has been a really valuable lesson learned for all of us and experience.”
Hamilton hopes to improve “every weekend” hereafter. Mercedes fans will be hoping for their star man to pull a miracle and win a race ahead of Red Bull and Ferrari.
