No love lost. Very few teammates in Formula 1 can share the history they can fondly remember. As it stands, a peculiar aspect of the sport is that your teammate is your greatest competitor. This often results in the duo always being ready to draw swords at each other. However, a recent moment between Lewis Hamilton and his ex-teammate has certainly put a full stop to the said blanket assumption.

Valtteri Bottas took to his official Instagram account to share a heartwarming moment with his old teammate, Hamilton, at Mercedes. He shared a picture of the duo from the driver’s parade of the Bahrain Grand Prix. In the picture, Lewis can be seen fondly at his mate. To add to the beautiful moment, Valtteri took it upon himself to share it on social media with a cheesy caption.

This is not the first time the duo has shared a moment of bromance after their separation as teammates. Last year when Bottas went skinny dipping in the wild, he made sure that he came back to the paddock to give Hamilton a framed memento from the trip.
