It’s no surprise that Max Verstappen credits his rise to the pinnacle of motorsports to his family. His parents have made the ultimate sacrifice in getting Max to the top. Jos Verstappen, who was himself an F1 driver, was immediately in awe at the moment Max was born.
Max’s newborn images taken by his parents surfaced recently. The Red Bull driver was born in a hospital in Belgium and Jos rushed to be alongside his then-wife after finishing the Luxembourg GP. Given his parent’s nature, Max Verstappen was introduced to speed before he was even born. He has clearly inherited the qualities of his parents as he is now the man to beat on race tracks. Moreover, his father predicted that Max was born to be an F1 driver.
“If he inherits the talents of Sophie and I, then a 2020 Formula 1 driver will soon be born. He’ll be able to drive that thing before he can walk.”
