However, off the track, they put off their serious faces to get involved in banter and wholesome gestures too. The Silver Arrows have stolen the headlines again, this time with a recently married couple from Brazil.

Mercedes had noticed that a Brazilian couple got married on the same day as the 2021 Brazilian GP. They had noted how the couple took updates on who won at Interlagos during their wedding ceremony. As the couple got to know it was Lewis Hamilton, they erupted in joy.

The couple also had a Hamilton cardboard cutout in the background with all the guests at the ceremony.

The Brackley outfit recently sent a late wedding gift for the betrothed couple. The gift was a signed race suit from Lewis Hamilton himself. While the race suit is approximately worth $5000, it might be priceless for the couple, considering Lewis signed it. They are surely going to display it beside their wedding photos.

Lewis Hamilton posted on his Instagram story to congratulate the couple in his romantic style. He said, “Love this couple so much. Look who’s in the background [Lewis’s cardboard cutout]. She just heard I’d won the Grand Prix in Brazil.”

Mercedes too posted on their social media a picture of the couple receiving the signed race suit. They mentioned how they surprised them with a late wedding gift. It is amazing how a team goes out of the way to appreciate the love of such fans.

After having an unexpected start to the 2022 season, Lewis Hamilton went out on vacation in the sandy deserts of Namibia. Hamilton was looking to recollect himself and come charging back in the 2nd half of the season. And that was his purpose for going to the southern African country, to explore the scenic beauty during the summer break.

Lewis mentioned how it was a much-needed reset for his life, given how much he got affected by the events of the 2021 season finale. It was great to see the 7-time champion taking some time off enjoying the natural beauty of Namibia.
