Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen, without a doubt, are the best drivers Red Bull has ever had. Vettel was in the middle of the Austrian team’s golden era when he won 4 consecutive world championships between 2010 and 2013. Verstappen, on the other hand, is in the middle of his own quest. As the Dutchman inadvertently copied his predecessor’s style recently, fans started a debate on who’s better.

After leaving Red Bull, Vettel never won a championship again. He came close a couple of times, finishing 2nd behind Lewis Hamilton during his Ferrari days but the 2013 campaign remained his last championship-winning one until he called it quits last year.

Max started his golden run in 2021 when he narrowly defeated Hamilton to clinch his maiden world title. The next year, he came back stronger as Red Bull started a new era of dominance with the advent of ground-effect regulations. The defending champion amassed 15 race wins during the entire season, a feat that was never achieved before. In 2023 so far, Verstappen has won two out of the first three races already. Clearly, he is ready to give Vettel’s records at the team a good competition.
