Consistency is the key to winning the world championship and Max Verstappen has been just that. The Red Bull world champion is on course for his second championship title in as many years. However, he might have to fight off his teammate as the Red Bull camp has two challengers on the team now. Although it’s a problem that Red Bull is happily accepting, it can get ugly in the coming weeks.

The problem at hand for Red Bull is choosing the numero uno within the team. We are all aware of Verstappen’s footing in the team and the world champion is the preference. However, with Perez’s win in Monaco, there’s only a 15-point gap between the two. And Red Bull can’t repeat the team orders from the Spanish GP without scrutiny from fans and Sergio Perez alike.
