Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris are the most fun duo in the Formula 1 paddock. After every Grand Prix, McLaren drops an episode of McLaren Unboxed on their official YouTube channel where the two engage in some fun shenanigans. While the fans wait for the next episode to come out after the Mexican GP, the Woking-based team tweeted a Try Not to Laugh Challenge video where the teammates cracked some dad jokes.
In the McLaren Unboxed video after the United States GP, the Honey Badger made his entrance into the paddocks on a horse. Keeping up with the Texan tradition, Daniel wore a cowboy outfit. He even had a country music singer accompanying him, singing some tunes while playing the guitar.

Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo take the Try Not to Laugh Challenge
In the video posted by McLaren on Twitter, Ricciardo, and Lando cracked some classic dad jokes, each better than the last. Every joke was a case of “it’s so bad that it’s good”.
While both of them did well to not laugh, each time, they came pretty close. One time Ricciardo even tried to hide his laugh by covering his face with his shirt but held himself together.

The McLaren teammates took turns cracking the jokes with Lando Norris starting the affair. In the first joke, Lando asked his teammate, “What do you call a fish wearing a bow tie?” Ricciardo took a shot and answered “a bow-fish”. Lando, in a cracked voice, said, “sofishticated”.
Norris being an avid golfer, guessed the next one, which Ricciardo asked him. “Why do fathers take an extra pair of socks when they go golfing?” The Brit answered, “In case they got a hole-in-one.”
The next one had Ricciardo almost lose it. Lando asked him, “What’s the best thing about Switzerland?” Ricciardo answered, “the Alps”. Norris delivered the punchline, “I don’t know, but the flag is a big plus.” Trying to hold his laugh, Ricciardo said, “So bad it hurts. This might be the worst one.”

Haas lodged a complaint after the race against Alonso for driving an unsafe car. The FIA handed Spaniard a 30-second post-race time penalty, which saw him drop from P7 to P15. Alpine quickly lodged a protest on Haas putting in the complaint after the stipulated time of 30-minute mark. The final verdict came in yesterday and FIA reinstated Alonso in his original P7.
After the verdict, the gap between Alpine and McLaren widened to 11 points, with the French team ahead.
