The Monaco GP is well underway and with all the crashes and aggressive radio messages, the race is turning out to be quite a treat for the fans. The legacy race has a history of hosting the biggest of celebrities for the race and the 2023 edition is turning out to be the same. Soccer sensation and Brazilian star Neymar Jr. is here as well. He revealed his favorite driver and also the team he supports. The combination is quite a strange one and fans simply cannot wrap their head around it.
Neymar is not the only sporting royalty that is attending the race. Former tennis sensation Maria Sharapova is here too. During the grid walk, an F1 correspondent approached her for an interview. As she asked who she was supporting, Maria revealed it was Lewis because she is great friends with him.

Ever since the start of the 2022 season, Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes are struggling to come to terms with the ground-effect regulations. Despite that, his popularity has remained intact, and he is still a favorite among the celebs. The latest to join the LH Army is none other than blistering soccer forward, Neymar Jr.
Before the start of the race, Neymar gave an interview where they asked him about his favorite driver and team. He replied, “I love F1 and above all I love [Lewis] Hamilton, who is a great friend of mine. I will support Red Bull and root for my friend.”
