The Billion Dollar Man was not physically present to celebrate the queen’s 70 years as a monarch. However, the driver’s name popped up during the proceedings. While the Monarch did not attend the event herself, she did pre-record a fun segment with Paddington Bear. Hamilton is often called to the palace
Lewis has been fond of the queen for a long time now. While on the Graham Norton Show, he revealed how much the Monarch enjoyed talking to the driver. In fact, he was even called back a year later. Understandably, the 37-year-old has arguably become a palace favorite with several visits over the years.
Sadly, Hamilton has struggled quite a bit this year. With several issues in the car, the Briton has not enjoyed racing in the W13 too much. He has suffered bad porpoising and still battles to keep the car at the front of the grid. So, can Lewis win Silverstone once again for the home crowd? Or are his best days behind him?
