Sebastian Vettel walked up to Max Verstappen before the start of the Australian Grand Prix with a little request. The request in question was for Max’s helmet. Sebastian, a former world champion, did not mind asking the current one for his helmet.

A wholesome moment shared by the two was caught on camera and is now going viral on the internet. Sebastian Vettel approaches Max before the start of the Australian Grand Prix. “If you are happy to some point to… I would like to swap helmets with you,” asks Vettel. A very humble approach from a four-time world champion. And Max makes the whole situation pretty wholesome.

Max was extremely humble with his reply too, as he agreed to the exchange of helmets. Max, although, suggested he would like to do so a little later in the season. After he has a few more helmets.

This exchange shows the mutual respect between the two. Max is the current world champion. He too like Vettel did it with Red Bull, a history the two share.

Champion Recognizes Champion

Sebastian Vettel, a former Red Bull driver, won all his four world championships consecutively with Red Bull. He became the youngest World Champion in the sport’s history. Max’s maiden world championship also came with Red Bull. A slight hint of the connection these two share. Which is followed by mutual respect, as we see in the video.
