In a recent challenge, Red Bull stars Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez were asked to stare at each other. The results were as funny as any of their fans could’ve ever imagined. Notably, the duo is currently on home turf as F1 has reached round 11; the Austrian Grand Prix. Safe to say, the team and the drivers are already on the right path, with Verstappen sitting on the pole for the sprint.

Verstappen’s arch-nemesis Lewis Hamilton crashed into Q3, resulting in a red flag. Moreover, George Russell‘s Mercedes also crashed minutes apart, giving everyone a chance for just one final attempt at pole, which Verstappen claimed.

Coming back to the challenge, ‘The Laughing Challenge’ Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez were required to stare at each other, forcing the other one to break. While Verstappen sat determined for the longest time, a flying kiss from Perez was all it took to break him.

The Dutchman laughed hysterically at the act, providing the watchers a great time. In their second season together, the two drivers get along better than ever. The F1 fraternity certainly enjoys Checo-Verstappen’s camaraderie and ingenuity.

This is not the first time, though, that the duo has enjoyed each other’s company so much. A while ago, during a singing challenge, Verstappen made a bold and surprising confession. He said, “So guys, we’re gonna do a music challenge. Here next to me, Checo has the voice of an angel,”

“So, he’s gonna sing and I need to guess the song.” Checo also backed the Dutchman’s statements by admitting, “Max loves my voice, so he really wants me to sing for him so, it’s his home race so I’ll do that for him.”
