The first two races of the 2022 season have provided nail-biting finishes. Charles Leclerc leads the way, followed by his teammate Carlos Sainz and Max Verstappen. While the battle between Ferrari and Red Bull takes the headlines, Alpine will hope to come out on top among the midfield contenders. They sit in 4th after two races and are getting the best out of their car.

Fernando Alonso finished 9th in the Bahrain Grand Prix, followed by a DNF in Saudi Arabia. The car is certainly showing a lot of potential amid concerns over reliability during pre-season. Alonso is currently in 13th place after two races with 2 points to his name. However, the driver’s standings do not reveal the entire picture after his race in Jeddah was marred by an unfortunate retirement.
