The 2023 Joburg Ladies Open has been underway since March 1st and is scheduled to go on till March 4th. The tournament took off when the Executive Mayor of the City of Johannesburg, Councillor Thapelo Amad, hit a beautiful first tee shot. Fans are extremely excited to watch their favorite players take home the title for the tournament. But how much is the total purse for the event? And what will be the winner’s share out of the huge prize money?

Who is leading the field at the 2023 Joburg Ladies Open?

The field is full of talented players from all around the world at the Joburg Ladies Open this year. There are a total of 132 players present on the field to compete against one another for the winner’s title. And the aim is to emulate the famous winner from the last season, Linn Grant. With four LET titles to her name in 2022, Grant claimed her victory at the eighth Joburg Ladies Open, leading herself to the Race to Costa del Sol.

However, the field also contains other highly-skilled golfers. As a matter of fact, Danish golfer, Nicole Broch Estrup, is currently leading the field on the second day of the tournament. With a score of 66 (-7) in her round, Broch has made a clear standout among all other golfers. Her total score after hitting seven birdies at seven under, got her heading into the final round with eight-under-par.

Total purse, prize money, and winner’s share for the tournament

The highly-awaited women’s event is receiving attention from fans all over the world. Golf enthusiasts are hoping to see their favorite golfers lifting the trophy after the final round. But only one of them will take home the title for the tournament along with a huge share of the total prize money.

The event is set at a total purse of €300,000, and the winner will pocket €45,000 at the end of the tournament. On the other hand, the runner-up will be receiving €27,000 as her share. Here is how much each player making the cut will earn from the tournament:
