Spiranac tries her hand at rugby

Despite Spiranac’s prowess, her team finished short of the duo of Garric and Trbojevic. But that didn’t deter the ex-golfer from trying her hand at rugby. The team then moved from the golf course to the club’s home ground, Brookvale Oval.

Sporting an Eagles jersey, Spiranac shot home a goal kick over the bar from close range, much to the aplomb of everyone around. Furthermore, she was also given a lesson on the art of tackling with Trbojevic, who demonstrated the move on a tackling bag.

Spiranac then went ahead with her tackle as well, nearly faceplanting herself with a brawny tackle. The day’s actions were captured and posted on the Eagles’ social media handles.
