The Spanish pro couldn’t believe his eyes following the close miss he suffered on the 17th. Expressing his disbelief at the same time, he exclaimed, “How is that f**king possible, man?” while alluding to the ball that missed the hole. This led to him being tied for third place with Matthew Wolff and Peter Uihlein.

The professional seems to have let himself go after learning that the Saudi-backed league would not impose any sort of penalty for the same on the athletes. Interestingly, the skipper and his teammate, the hot-headed Tyrrell Hatton, were informed of the same a day before the first event took place in Mayakoba.
