The sporting community has been hit with boxing fever as the much-anticipated Tyson Fury-Francis Ngannou fight took the world by storm. As both the fighters put their hearts on their sleeves, or in this case their gloves, many were amazed, not to say shocked, by the insane bout between the two. However, in the end, Fury was able to clinch the win by a split decision, leaving a lot of fans surprised.

However, even before the match, a lot of people had predicted a Fury win. One of the people voicing this opinion was none other than a former professional boxer, who even went ahead to bring the GOAT of golf’s name into the argument. Yes, none other than Tiger Woods himself!

Although the bout saw ‘The Gypsy King’ struggling on his toes in the third round as he was rattled by the former UFC heavyweight champion, a split decision cost the latter a win at his debut boxing game. And unsurprisingly so, Oscar De La Hoya had pointed out the same ahead of the game.

In an exclusive interview, the American mentioned how Ngannou doesn’t have any chance of beating the English fighter in a boxing match. Moreover, he even brought the legend of the game of golf into the fray as he pointed out how he “would have a better chance at beating Tiger Woods in golf” than the former UFC champ winning the same. He thus drew a parallel between the Hall of Famer and the English boxer as he termed the latter as nothing short of a legend.

In the boxing contest titled “Battle of the Baddest,” the ‘Predator’ was nothing short of an amazing boxer as he put up a stunning performance in his debut fight. However, what followed was a controversial decision of sorts as he went ahead to lose the game by a ridiculous margin as just one of the judges scored in his favor while the rest two did so in Fury’s, (94-95, 95-94, and 96-93 respectively).

Well, the 15X major winner was called onto a different sport without his knowledge. However, someone from the sport of golf was spotted at the event taking part in the fever herself, none other than Charley Hull.
