Bryson DeChambeau is known as “the Scientist” of golf. He calculates each of his moves carefully and executes them. He uses vector putting and Bryson used to rely on green-reading books more than anybody.

As the scientist of golf, Bryson DeChambeau relied mostly on the technical aspects of the sport.
How will the change affect Bryson DeChambeau?
“They took a process that I’ve done for 13 years, and numerous other people have done for a long time and nixed it,” said DeChambeau.
“It is what it is. I can’t say much more about it other than it’s a bit disappointing because I think there’s a lot more traction around the hole now and people are standing around the hole. Whether that has an effect, I don’t know,” he added.
Bryson explained that it took him 13 years to figure out his gameplay. The people who work with him rely on the numbers and use them to improve his game all these years. So, the change the PGA Tour had brought got him hard.
DeChambeau added that the golfers with much more experience, who relied on the green-reading book readings, will have more problems. However, Bryson said that since the authorities have chosen to make the changes, he supports them wholeheartedly.

The Scientist further added that he now has to learn a new way to make more putts without the help of the green-reading book. Although he felt disappointed in the decision of the PGA Tour, Bryson said he hs to figure out a new way for him to perfect his putting.
