Who comes to mind when we say “hole-in-one” political figure? Is it Donald Trump? Yes, the former Premier of the US is widely associated with golf. Not just in terms of his massive golf course but also for his involvement on the course. There is no doubt that he is mostly in the news for making a big splash in the golf world apart from politics. It’s not the first time that Donald Trump has declared himself a winner. In recent news, he did that in the Senior Club Championship at his own Trump International Golf Senior Club Championship in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Winning by the right means would be the right way to go about it, but Trump has a flair of his own.
Donald Trump Crowns Himself Senior Club Champion
It’s official: Donald Trump has declared himself the winner of the Senior Club Championship at his own Trump International Golf Club in Florida. The former president announced on social media that he had won the tournament. But there is a catch; the former golf-loving President of the US won this tournament despite not being on the course on the first day. In a weekend-long event, he missed the whole first day.
Trump wrote on his social media that it was a “great honour” to have won “on one of the best courses in the country, in Palm Beach County.” While the other participating members were still in shock as to how he got a five-point lead on the start of Day 2 despite not playing on the first day of the event. According to an article in Golf Weekly, Trump wrote on his social media, “Competed against many fine golfers and was hitting the ball long and straight.”

He further wrote, “The reason that I announce this on fabulous TRUTH is that, in a very real way, it serves as a physical exam, only MUCH tougher. You need strength and stamina to WIN, & I have strength & stamina – most others don’t. You also need strength & stamina to GOVERN!”
Fans Reacting to Donald Trump’s self-declaration as a winner
Anybody who knows Trump is well aware that he is known to play fast and get around the rules, often taking liberties such as moving his ball to a better position or counting phantom strokes. One of the Twitter accounts mocking Trump wrote, “I used to do that too, when I was 8…..” Making a hilarious comparison of Trump with Kim Jong, another account commented, “Congrats to Kim Jong-Il on his 2nd place finish with four holes in one.”

I’m sure if anyone legitimately beats him, he just claims they cheated.

This is like Putin playing hockey in Russia and the goalie lets him score 11 times.

You cheat at golf you have zero credibility.

Any normal golf club would have expelled this cheating clown long ago.
