Not just in terms of his massive golf course but also for his involvement on the course. There is no doubt that he is mostly in the news for making a big splash in the golf world apart from politics. It’s not the first time that Donald Trump has declared himself a winner. In recent news, he did that in the Senior Club Championship at his own Trump International Golf Senior Club Championship in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Donald Trump Crowns Himself Senior Club Champion

It’s official: Donald Trump has declared himself the winner of the Senior Club Championship at his own Trump International Golf Club in Florida. The former president announced on social media that he had won the tournament. But there is a catch; the former golf-loving President of the US won this tournament despite not being on the course on the first day. In a weekend-long event, he missed the whole first day.

Trump wrote on his social media that it was a “great honour” to have won “on one of the best courses in the country, in Palm Beach County.” While the other participating members were still in shock as to how he got a five-point lead on the start of Day 2 despite not playing on the first day of the event. According to an article in Golf Weekly, Trump wrote on his social media, “Competed against many fine golfers and was hitting the ball long and straight.”

Fans Reacting to Donald Trump’s self-declaration as a winner

Anybody who knows Trump is well aware that he is known to play fast and get around the rules, often taking liberties such as moving his ball to a better position or counting phantom strokes. One of the Twitter accounts mocking Trump wrote, “I used to do that too, when I was 8…..” Making a hilarious comparison of Trump with Kim Jong, another account commented, “Congrats to Kim Jong-Il on his 2nd place finish with four holes in one.

The whole comment section was filled with mockery of the former Premier of the US. Social media users made several comparisons and did not mince their words.
