Justin Thomas was born in Louisville, and it was a sad day for him. His hometown, Louisville, became a victim of a horrific incident. A horrendous shooting rampage took place at the bank in town by an employee.

A 25-year-old employee opened fire in the downtown bank he was working and shot five of his co-workers. Nine other people, both civilians and police officers, were injured and two of them were in serious condition. The shooter also live-streamed the whole attack on his Instagram, says the police.

Justin Thomas penned down a heartfelt message:

Victims who got hurt were between the age of 40 & 64. Gunfire was then opened by the police and in the exchange massacre, they shot the attacker dead. According to one of the employees, Mr. Haste, shooter Connor Sturgeon, had a long assault rifle, “And he just started shooting. He had a long assault rifle, and the shots just started firing.”

Justin Thomas took to his Twitter handle to express his sadness over the recent incident. This incident has been yet another slap to the face of humanity.

Thomas at the Masters

2023 marked the first year since his Masters’ appearance when Justin Thomas had failed to make the cut. Thomas, 29, played his first Masters Tournament 7 years ago. In 2022, Thomas, the winner of the 2017 and 2022 PGA Championship, finished at number eight and his best finish was in the year 2020 when he finished in fourth position.
