Golfers of all experience levels and skill levels occasionally experience shanking. It occurs when the hosel rather than the clubface is utilized to strike the ball. It causes the ball to fly off in an unpredictable direction. Golfers may find this upsetting because shanks frequently lead to subpar shots that deduct strokes from the score. While it can happen to any golfer, it might be common to former professionals as they are away from regular golf. That is the story with Paige Spiranac as well.
Due to her frequent participation on social media, the golf industry diva is constantly in the news. Even though she usually finds herself in contentious situations, this one is quite unique. Days after her controversial content, the 30-year-old grabs the golfing community’s attention with her shank story.

Shanking can occur for a number of reasons, such as inadequate alignment, the wrong grip, or an unnatural swing path. While one can shank with any club, it occurs most frequently with shorter clubs, particularly wedges. As she admitted too, that precise explanation appears to apply to Spiranac as well.
