And with the support, she ends the curse of zero victory for her team. Woods’s daughter plays as the captain of the Benjamin High School girls’ soccer team. And recently, she has helped the team win their first-ever state championship title.
Well, amid the celebration wave in the crowd, there was a familiar face that took the attention. It was no one other than Tiger Woods, who was seen celebrating her daughter’s achievement. A recent post shared by Twspot shared a glimpse of it. In life’s rough phases, it was Sam who braced him.
Back in the days when the Big Cat struggled through the separation phase with his better half, Elin Nordengren. Woods was open to sharing his feelings with his daughter. He said in 2015, “Guys, the reason why we’re not in the same house, why we don’t live under the same roof, Mommy and Daddy, is because Daddy made some mistakes.”
Even with the demise of Kultida Woods, it was her daughter’s great accomplishment that brought back the happiness in the life of the golfer. Notably, Woods named Sam after his father. “My father had always called me Sam since the day I was born. He rarely ever called me Tiger. I would ask him, ‘Why don’t you ever call me Tiger?’ He says, ‘Well, you look more like a Sam,” he shared the conversation with his father in 2007.
