On Thursday, before the round began, the 5-time PGA Tour winner was at the gym clad in all black. Fowler claims himself to be lucky to have won

The one-time major winner had a brilliant start to their pairing up. He took an early lead and maintained it right until the 10th hole. But that’s when things started falling apart! At the 11th hole, Fowler took the lead, and by the 15th hole, he was 2 up. He maintained it till the 17th, winning himself the match in a glorious comeback. “It was a bummer to see him struggle the way he did,” said the American star.

Fowler believed that Rahm, unfortunately, had an off day and he was “fortunate” to have won. “I know he’s going to give the guys a hard time the next couple days because that was very uncharacteristic,” he claimed. The PGA Tour star was certain that the abrupt loss was a one-time fallout for the Spanish golf great, and that he would make his way back to winning.
