LIV Golf has been posing as one of the greatest rivals to the PGA Tour ever since it was launched. And it’s not surprising for their players to make controversial statements about the ones in the American League. However, when it comes from someone who is a part of the PGA Tour himself, it becomes a bit worrisome.
A similar incident happened a few days back when PGA Tour star Matt Fitzpatrick made staggering statements about his fellows at the RBC Heritage tournament. Nonetheless, he is not the only one to open up about the matter anymore as another tour player charges at the same issue.

PGA Tour star unveils a serious issue with his bold statements
Several professional golfers stayed back on the PGA Tour despite the lucrative offers made by LIV Golf back in the day. But with new issues arising every day on the American tour, players are finding it hard to show consistent support without speaking up.

It was not long ago when Patrick Cantlay was in the news about his unimaginably slow pace of playing. In fact, even Brooks Koepka took an indirect hit at Cantlay’s slow play at the Masters, calling his group “brutally slow”. And only a few days later, PGA Tour professional Matt Fitzpatrick, who was paired with World No. 4 Cantlay, spoke about the matter calling it “a disgrace”.
But now, things have gone to another level as Cantlay is not the only one being accused of his speed on the course. It was nothing less than a shock for the fans as PGA Tour ace Michael Kim made firm statements about the same issue. “Y’all think Cantlay is slow… you should see some others…” he said in his recent tweet.
Y’all think Cantlay is slow… you should see some others… 🤦🏻♂️ I think there should be a monthly report of the slowest players on @PGATOUR. Public shaming won’t work on Cantlay but might work on others.

“I think there should be a monthly report of the slowest players on @PGATOUR. Public shaming won’t work on Cantlay but might work on others.” It was hard to guess who the player was pointing toward since he didn’t mention any names in his tweet. But multiple players speaking about the same issue should definitely ring a bell in the ears of the PGA Tour officials!
Fans react to the recent tweet of Michael Kim
As soon as the American golfer’s tweet went viral, fans could not decide what to think. After all, the player did not reveal who he was talking about with his sharp words. And that led the fans to leave all kinds of reactions to the tweet. Here’s what some of them had to say about it:
Let's name names!

It has to cost guys shots or nothing will happen. Fines and public shaming are worthless.

Shot clock. I would hate to be playing behind a lot of you guys.

Sam Bennett is the worst I’ve ever seen and I’ve been watching golf for 25 years
